who like beaches, and those who like mountain
ranges.
If you like beaches, then go to a wimpy site
somewhere else, or be converted. For the rest
of us - this is where the mountain ranges are.
The
Rocky Mountains
The
Rocky Mountains are nirvana for hard-core backpacking
nuts. As a mountain range, the Rockies still
retain their wild nature of pre-civilization.
And if the Republicans don't ravage them to
support their pals who give them millions in
payola (campaign contributions), they'll continue
be one of the most magnificent mountain ranges
on this planet.

the most gigantic of mountain ranges.
For another, they're hard to get to, which is
